Dele posing with his painting, "Pharmacia", July 2011.
Dele may be considered a modern-day Renaissace Man, with wide-ranging interests that include fine art, music, literature and education. Apart from trying to make his medical practice a very welcomingn and family oriented meeting point in Dallas, he paints in his spare time. Besides these two major vacations, his major ambition is to assist in the secular education of young people especially those classified as ethnic minorities in the U.S. with emphasis on science, arts and the humanities, free from superstitious dogma.

A practicing physician and self-trained artist, Dele grew up in Nigeria, where he honed his skills in drawing and painting from childhood. He has promoted the works of prominent modern artists in that part of the world.
Inspired by the wood carvings and bronze sculpture of his native Yoruba culture, he organized the successful Sinsemillia Gallery which introduced annual Art Expos to Lagos Nigeria in the 1980's. Since coming to the United States, he has mastered pencil drawings, as well as adapting watercolor and acrylic to his distinct mannerism.
Although his subject matter frequently involves contemporary themes - love, marriage, even sports - his works are highly stylized and symbolic, inspired by his Muse, his wife Kim. His works pay a loving tribute to those bygone artists who created the ancient west African masks and sculptures that have made such an impact on modern art.
Based in Dallas and Houston, Dipo was born in Ido-Ekiti in Yorubaland in Nigeria. He was educated at St. Benedict Primary School and Ekiti Parapo College, both located in his hometown of Ido-Ekiti. Alao was trained in Osun State of Western Nigeria as an artist in the Oshogbo school. His mentors and antecedents include rRufus Ogundele and Twin Seven Seven, the acclaimed leader of the Oshogbo school of modern Yoruba art. He uses ink and pen to render evocative forms mostly of heroic females such as Moremi from Yoruba mythology.
A Canadian expatriate living and working in Pecos TX where she is the Director Of Nursing at the Reeves County Memorial Hospital. Faye is a self-taught artist who uses the medium of acrylic on canvas to convey joyous scenes derived from childhood images and popular cartoon characters.
A professional artist based in west Texas. Originally working from Van Horn, TX, he currently has his studio in Midland, TX. His subject matter and choice of technique frequently mirror the famous post-Impressionist artist, Vincent van Gogh.
